Facilities

Southeastern Guide Dogs is situated in a rural setting on a 23-acre campus on the gulf coast of Florida in beautiful Manatee County . Our facilities consist of an administration/student housing building, a main kennel, a puppy kennel, and a receiving kennel.
Our campus also has a series of pathways, called the Freedom Walk. These landscaped walks are used as a practical classroom for training blind and visually impaired students to use a guide dog. Each segment of the walk includes specific training sites with tasks such as obstacles, crosswalks, and other challenges that the blind student can expect to encounter in their daily life.
Our downtown training center in Bradenton allows students to become familiar with their guide dog in a metropolitan setting.
