Support Southeastern Guide Dogs
We appreciate heroes like Terry...and you
After losing his eyesight in Kuwait, Terry Staggs suffered a stroke and was confined to a wheelchair. Terry graduated from Southeastern Guide Dogs, where he was paired with a specially trained wheelchair dog named Ron.
Back home in Tennessee, Terry and Ron were crossing a street when a drunk driver struck the wheelchair. Ron immediately pulled Terry away from the crumpled chair only seconds before the battery burst into flames. Terry escaped with only a few scrapes, and the faithful dog was hailed as a hero.
As a veteran and a graduate of our program, Terry Staggs is our hero. So is his guide dog, Ron. And so are our puppy raisers, animal trainers, volunteers, veterinarians-and people like you, who make a simple choice to support our mission with gifts of any amount. Donations help us breed puppies, purchase dog food, medicine, and harnesses, train guide dogs, house students, and offer all of our life-changing services free of charge to our students.
Be a hero. Donate today.
