Student at Beach with dog

Southeastern Guide Dogs provides guide dogs and training to both civilians and veterans and currently serves more than 800 active guide dog teams.

For more than 26 years, we have provided independence and freedom to people with total blindness and all types of vision loss, including macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa.

Southeastern Guide Dogs' commitment doesn't stop there, however. We have recently instituted proactive follow up programs through our Graduate Services division, including home visits and consultations via telephone and email, all aimed at keeping our graduate teams on track and on task with maximum results.

Our primary service area for first-time students includes Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. We serve returning graduates from all over the United States.

We welcome all inquiries about our programs.

Quote from Chris McNamee: "When my wife Lynn and I visited the Southeastern Guide Dogs campus, the staff treated us as the most important thing they had to do that day."
