Margaret and Isaac Barpal Veterinary Center Progress Update
January 2013
We are excited to announce construction has started on the Margaret and Isaac Barpal Veterinary Center. The footers are being dug and steel is being installed into the footers in preparation for pouring concrete. To be followed by concrete block stem walls, plumbing and conduit.

The plumbing and electrical underground work is being done inside the building envelope. Upon completion of this, the interior slab will be poured.
February 2013
A concrete pump truck pours the interior slab at the Barpal Veterinary Center.
The concrete block stem walls are going up. The blocks are filled with steel and concrete.
Masons have completed erecting the exterior and interior block walls. The next step will be the framing for the remaining parts of the exterior walls and the installation of the trusses for the roof.
March 2013
Framing was completed on the load-bearing walls in preparation for the installation of the trusses and the roof.
The block masonry work, concrete pours, and kennel run floors have been completed.
Progress has been made on some of the decorative structural elements around the entry of the building.
The tresses have been put in place down the length of the building so that the roof can soon be installed.
April 2013
The wooden roof as shown has been installed to the tresses and is ready for waterproofing and the installation of a metal roof.
