Adorable, aren’t they? You’re watching the antics of one of our most recent litters. Our puppies are born here on campus, carefully bred for their outstanding personalities and intelligence. Because one day, these little guys will be charged with the safety and guidance of our visually impaired students.
From “puppy hugging” to harness training…these puppies have an exciting life ahead of them. They’ll soon be sent to volunteer puppy raiser families, and then later return to learn the protective and attentive ways of a highly-trained guide dog. They’ll learn over 40 commands before they leave here for good.
These are no ordinary puppies. They’re part of something big…something extraordinary. Each puppy represents mobility, independence, and freedom for one of our future students. And it costs them nothing to take home a guide dog. Because of people like you.
