Veterans Courtyard Bricks
Many of our visually impaired students and graduates have lost their vision as a direct result of military conflicts. As a way to pay tribute to all the courageous men and women who serve our country—our graduates and beyond—we’ve built a beautiful Veterans Courtyard near the center of the Southeastern Guide Dogs campus.
It’s our way of standing at attention and giving a heartfelt salute.
Flanked by flags representing each branch—Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Air Force this courtyard will be paved with engraved bricks, saluting heroes far and wide.
When you donate $100 for an engraved brick for our Veterans Courtyard, you’ll help us honor the service men and women in your life while supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs.
Our courtyard, generously sponsored by Doug Mansfield, expands our students’ training area, giving them more space to practice and work with their guidedogs. It provides a shady spot for volunteers and visitors to enjoy. And it recognizes the veterans we love.
Order your engraved brick today, and join us as we salute our favorite veterans. Your donation is tax-deductible!
If you are interested in sponsoring a flag ($5,000 each) or a bench ($1,500 each) in the Veterans Courtyard, please email Amber Watt or call at 941.845.1888.
