Puppy Kindergarten Adventure in our NEW Puppy Academy

Our puppies can’t wait to see you at the new Grant & Shirle Herron Puppy Academy for Puppy Kindergarten Adventure.
Imagine yourself surrounded by a litter of soft puppies. Ahh, nothing better! After a temporary break while we moved to our sparkling new Puppy Academy, our Puppy Kindergarten Adventure program is launching again starting May 15th.
Here, we take puppy education seriously—it’s seriously fun! At Puppy Kindergarten Adventure, you become the teacher to our pint-sized superheroes.
While you’ll love playing with adorable puppies, you’ll help to socialize and accustom them to human interaction. Up to seven guests at a time become volunteer kindergarten teachers as the puppies experience multi-sensory learning sessions that expose them to new sights, sounds, puzzles, textures, under-footings, and more. Every experience is geared to preparing the dogs for the environments and challenges they will face as extraordinary service dogs.
The ten different modules that make up the Puppy Kindergarten Adventure include Quiet Time; Health Class-Mock Vet Exam; Music Time; ABC’s; Recess; Dress-Up; Physical Education; In Motion; Brain Games and Create Your Own Classroom. Each curriculum offers puppies and visitors engaging hands-on experiences and play-with-a-purpose led by trained volunteer puppy educators.
The Puppy Kindergarten Adventure is suitable for ages 7 and up. Sessions are held in the new Puppy Academy on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at either 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $25 per person and proceeds help defray food and other expenses for our puppies.
