Choosing the right guide dog school is an important decision.

If you know someone who could use the gift of a guide dog, please share!

Fear. It can hold us back from discovering our full potential. For those who are blind, fear can make leaving the house or crossing the street seem impossible. But imagine if someone with four paws and a wagging tail could confidently lead the way.

For people with vision loss, deciding to get a guide dog and then choosing a guide dog school—these are life-altering decisions. So, we’ve created this video to help them make an informed decision. We want people to overcome their fear, realize what’s possible, and imagine a beautiful dog guiding them to independence.

At Southeastern Guide Dogs, our smart dogs are the smart choice for people with vision loss. We take time and care in matching our guide dogs so each graduate goes home with the right dog that suits their lifestyle, pace, and preferences. We provide all of our dogs and services at no cost and follow up with our teams for life through our Alumni Support program.

Our amazing guide dogs change lives, and we want to continue to help as many people with vision loss as possible live life to the fullest. Choosing a guide dog school is that important!
