WHAT: Our service and guide dog instructors are interested in training a small group of volunteers to become “Day Sitters” and/or “Extended Getaway Hosts” for our future guide and service dogs. In both cases, our goal is to decrease kennel stress and provide our adult dogs with rest-and-relaxation away from campus. This Q&A session will be an opportunity for our instructors to tell you more about the specifics and requirements of this program.
WHO: This training is restricted to upper-level volunteers who are currently qualified to work with our adult dogs as Enrichment volunteers or Canine Fitness Varsity team members.
WHEN: Monday, August 22nd, from 11am-12pm
