In The News
August 2021
August was filled with stories and articles about everything we do at Southeastern Guide Dogs. From puppy raising to fully working dogs, the media covered it all. This month was particular popular for puppy raisers. Local media across Florida shared what the puppy raising experience is like and how one can get involved. One reporter for Around the Ranch even joined a puppy raiser meeting and experienced puppy raising first hand. Additionally, guide dog graduates like Brooklyn Shannon and Cheri Sytsma shared their stories with their hometown media. Check out these articles and more.
Born to Serve Tennessee Magazine perfectly captured everything we do at Southeastern Guide Dogs. In the three-page spread, they shared stories of puppy raisers, trainers, and graduates. Additionally, they included how the public can help support our mission. Read the digital version of the spotlight here. And read the additional story on puppy raising here.
