What's YOUR Mitzvah Project?
When you partner with Southeastern Guide Dogs for your Mitzvah Project, you open doors of opportunity for our dogs and the people that need them. It’s a great way to have some fun, while raising awareness for our organization.
Your Mitzvah Project Makes an Impact
Congratulations on your upcoming bar/bat mitzvah. What a special time for you and your family. As you consider a mitzvah project that has real meaning, we hope you will consider making an impact for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Because of the generosity of people just like you, we provide our extraordinary dogs and a lifetime of follow-up services at no cost to our students and alumni—the people who need our dogs.
Our guide dogs help people with vision loss navigate independently, gaining freedom and confidence. Our service dogs help veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and other disabilities find courage and hope on their healing journey. We also provide dogs for children and teens with significant challenges such as vision loss or loss of a parent in the military. These amazing dogs provide children with comfort and self-assurance.
Just as you will soon begin a new chapter in your life, our students also begin new chapters when they are matched with these extraordinary dogs. And we need your help.
